For over 25 years Barber Specialties has led commercial drywall, plaster and lath teams to expand interior and exterior commercial projects and services across North Texas. Brandon founded Barber Specialties in 1995 to serve the growing demand for quality-based drywall and acoustical contractors in North Texas. He currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the DFW Drywall and Acoustical Contractors Association. Brandon's leadership, integrity, and core values have created a culture dedicated to developing quality partnerships. Brandon supports the community through engagement, awareness, and a variety of philanthropic initiatives.
Scott joined the Barber team in 2016. Scott is responsible for helping manage a variety of projects that span across North Texas and surrounding cities. He brings more than 25 years of managerial experience after serving as a Department Manager for Sears Holding Corporation.
Mike joined the Barber Specialties, Inc. team in 2014 after a longtime career with the Coca Cola Bottling Company of North Texas. Mike serves as a PM and manages multiple projects that span across the DFW metroplex. He works closely with construction partners and superintendents to ensure client satisfaction.
Marketing and Business Development
Kristin joined the Barber Specialties team in 2016 after serving in Texas School Public Education as the Director of Public Relations and Executive Director of the Education Foundation. She is responsible for building the brand, promoting the team, fostering successful relationships with clients, and utilizing a variety of marketing platforms. She manages social media channels, creates marketing materials, and coordinates team building initiatives. Additionally, she brings experience in health care, human resources, and crisis-communications. She is a graduate of Kaufman County Leadership and completed the Leadership North Texas Program.
Roy has over 32 years of experience in residential and commercial construction. After being self-employed for nearly a decade in Waco, he served as a claims adjuster and relocated to Dallas. Roy joined the team as an Estimator and Project Manager in early 2020.
Financial Services Specialist
Krystal comes to Barber Specialties with over 15 years experience in financial services. She is solution oriented and specializes in payroll, accounts payable, and receivables. Her background includes experience in education, healthcare and the construction industry.
David has been a part of the Barber Specialties family since 2000 and has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry. As a General Superintendent he is responsible for supervising foremen and field teams working across the DFW metroplex. His expertise in managing and coordinating man-power, ordering equipment, and effectively communicating with Project Managers and GC’s is vital to the success and outcome of project completion and client satisfaction.
Juan serves as a Project Manager with over 19 years in the construction industry. He works closely with Superintendents to ensure sufficient man-power, equipment, and supplies are available to meet extrinsic project deadlines. Previously, Juan served as a General Superintendent and supervised foremen and field teams to foster effective communication between general contractors, partners, and clients. Juan has been with Barber Specialties, Inc. since 2000.
Tim has served the construction industry for over 28 years and brings abundant knowledge to the team. He oversees Foreman and field crews across the metroplex and is responsible for managing the flow of man power, ensuring equipment, and confirming supplies are ordered. Tim works closely with the field to satisfy strict construction deadlines required by clients, partners, and contractors. Tim has worked for Barber Specialties since 2016.
Diana is a staple to the Barber team. She serves as the first face to greet employees, partners, customers, and guests. Diana offers a variety of office support. Her role in day to day operations is imperative to keep the Barber team functioning smoothly. Diana has been with Barber since 2015.
Terry has been a part of the Commercial Construction Industry for nearly three decades and has served the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding cities. He is a trusted 26-year industry veteran that is well respected for building strong relationships with clients, peers and business partners within the drywall industry. Terry has been a part of the Barber family since 2014.
Brian brings knowledge, dedication, and many years of expertise in sales management. He has great understanding and knowledge in construction pricing. His outstanding track record for building quality relationships with existing and potential clients and partners brings value to the Barber team. Prior to working in construction, Brian served the Automotive Industry for more than 15 years. Brian has been a part of the team since 2011.
Felipe joined the Barber team in 2013 and is committed to delivering outstanding service while developing and maintaining quality partnerships. He is an accomplished Project Manager and well trusted Estimator with a track record for meeting and exceeding service excellence. He has served in the North Texas drywall industry since 1999 and holds a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Construction Management from the University of North Texas.
Tracy has been in drywall for over three decades and shares more than 30 years of expertise and leadership in the construction industry. He oversees a variety of projects within the DFW Metroplex and is an integral member of the Project Management team. Tracy has a vast knowledge of construction management and is widely respected amongst peers and clients for his ability to meet moving targets, control costs, efficiently reach objectives and maintain scope. Tracy has served the Barber team for more than 10 years.
Deborah is responsible for overseeing day to day management that supports company values, financial goals, and client partnerships. She has over 30 years in construction with extensive knowledge in lien laws and sales tax in the construction industry with a focus in accounting. She is certified in Personnel Law and is a member of the National Association of Credit Managers. Deborah has been a part of the Barber Team for more than a decade.
Assistant Office Manager
Alice is a critical piece in the daily operations at Barber Specialties. She is responsible for keeping time and location for our office and field team and serves as the Assistant Office Manager as well as the Payroll Administrator. Alice has a background in bookkeeping and is exceptionally detail oriented. She ensures payroll is accurate and complete for more than 200+ employees each week. She maintains outstanding relationships with employees, clients, vendors and partners. Alice has served as an essential part of the Barber Specialties team since 2013.
Alan is a widely known veteran in the construction industry with over 40 years of expertise in commercial drywall. He studied aviation and is well educated in a diverse span of interests, subjects, and hobbies which include a heavy emphasis on politics. Alan served as a Delegate to the Republican State Convention four times. He is an intrinsic part of the Barber team and has been employed with Barber Specialties since 2012. He is a member of the DFW Drywall and Acoustical Contractors Association where he has served in a variety of capacities including more than 7 non-consecutive years as Past President as well as Vice President; Secretary; Treasurer; and Board Director.
Head of Field Operations
As a seasoned veteran to the construction industry, Steve brings more than 4 decades of knowledge and expertise to the team. He oversees Foreman and field crews across the metroplex. Steve is responsible for managing the flow of man power, ensuring equipment and supplies are ordered, and guaranteeing strict construction schedules are met. He works closely with clients, partners, and contractors. Steve has worked for Barber Specialties since 2005.
Ignacio ``Nacho`` coordinates, administers and implements comprehensive training programs in occupational, industrial, and environmental safety. He is responsible for evaluating safety and best practices and responding to reported accidents to ensure all safety procedures are followed. He works closely with superintendents, foremen, and field crews and oversees onsite visits and safety trainings. Nacho has worked as an intricate part of the Barber Specialties team for more than 15 years.
